My History

After leaving college in 1983 with the relatively new qualification of an HND in Computer Studies (Dist), I started my career in IT with a forward-thinking and innovative local engineering company, helping them to implement and manage a new computer system to manage their growing national and international business.

From a small private sector business, I moved on to a role as an Analyst/Programmer in the NHS - at the time part of a busy, small team in which duties varied from soldering to attending regional IT Directors' meetings!  In ten years, I provided Helpdesk support, implemented new systems, wrote applications for clinicians, and worked on major systems integration projects.  By the end of my time with the NHS, I had risen to the role of Head of Information Systems, managing a large team.

From working in a massive public body, I moved back to the private sector, to work for a local IT consultancy - CCS IT Limited.  Again, the work was varied - from Project Management, to Software Development, and Software Testing.  When the company became involved in social housing, my experience of testing was used to QA the first version of a new product - Keystone Asset Management - and then to become lead demonstrator.  Software demonstration led to Sales, which led to the Board.  In the last 12 years, I have been dedicated to taking a new name to the sector, to the number one product in social housing asset management.  This has been achieved through total dedication to quality of product, excellence in customer service, and above all, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
